Maverick was at a kill shelter, all skin and bones before six years. Fortunately, Joey Maxwell and his wife saw the dog and adopted him. Sometime back, Maverick was diagnosed with lymphoma. Maxwell did his best to treat his pet and the first round of chemo was encouraging. Again, two months ago, due to a grievous spell of the illness, Maverick was unable to walk.

So Maxwell decided to make it better during his pet’s last days and took it for a ride on a wagon. Everyone who knows about Maverick came forward to show him their love.  Maxwell got a 50% wagon discount.

Then the miracle began. Maverick started recovering! He needed love and he gets it from one and all. And that’s why he gets stronger day by day!
